UNTOLD STORY OF THE SANDEEP PARAB
Sandeep Parab is a young man from Pandur (Kudal, Dist. Sindhudurg). From childhood he loved to help others. He was especially passionate about the homeless senior citizens. As is customary in Konkan, he reached Bombay at the age of twenty-four; But not for a job like other youth, but for social work. In Mumbai, he completed his basic course in social service from the Social Service League in Paral. followed by All India Women
He worked in many organizations like Parishad, Housing Rights Committee and Lotus Eye Hospital in Juhu-Santa Cruz. He was a project manager at the hospital. During this period, social service work also started in the slums. He helped slum dwellers to get water connection and sanitation facilities. Walking around the area, I saw AIDS victims and orphaned children of victims. Five of them were admitted to Ashraya Ashram And accepted his parentage. In 2004, Parab got an opportunity to
participate in a project of Shraddha Kendra of Akhil Bharatiya Mahila Parishad in Khar. As part of this project, a survey was conducted of street children and drug addicts due to homelessness and a day care center was run for these children. To understand the side effects of drug consumption, many path plays were presented. Support was given to such children. their Counseling done. While doing all this, Parab realized one thing that though there are many organizations working for children and women, any organization that works for the senior citizens who live a destitute life on the side of the road, the destitute people who are dying due to lack of medication, the young children who are addicted because of no support. was not Parab decided that he should undertake this work and he did ittook From that he started Jeevan Anand organization in the year 2007.
